Check out the website for discounts, registration types, and more details. CNU is gathering in person for the first time in two years to connect, discuss, learn, debate, and grow TOGETHER. This is a great opportunity to join fellow New Urbanists and see in action how Oklahoma City’s public and private sectors, non-profit community, and residents have collaborated to reshape the city’s urban environment. Some highlights ahead for CNU.30:
Collaborate with us at CNU.30 for the "3 for 30" film:
We are in search to document -- with a short film -- good Urbanist changes that have happened in your community in the years following a CNU Congress. If you have something to offer us about any proud after-effect of any Congress, from the most recent in-person Congress (CNU.27 Louisville) to all the way back to CNU I or any Congress in between, please contact Gary Scott [email protected], Scott Gann [email protected], and CNU New York's Zeke Mermell [email protected].
The team is looking forward to collaborating with anyone interested in sharing their story. Depending on logistics, Gary, Scott and Zeke could meet you (in person or virtually) for an interview, shoot a video of a site you have in mind, or even utilize existing footage that you may already have access to. Collaboration can be as quick and simple as volunteers would like.
The working title is "3 for 30," as we seek to document three examples of Congresses' transformations. This short video retrospective on the impact past Congresses have had on their host cities can bring us closer together for the first in-person Congress since Louisville. Notably, Buffalonians' and Western New Yorkers experiences since CNU.22 in Buffalo, as well as Downstaters' experiences since CNU IX in New York City, could help give the film a distinctly CNU New York perspective.
Your support in creating this film is appreciated. The team would especially like to hear from public administrators, community organizers and/or consultants of projects that have materialized since a previous Congress was hosted in your city. Scott, Zeke and Gary look forward to working with you!
