A presentation on Hanoi Capital Construction Master Plan by Perkins Eastman. Brad Perkins and Paul Buckhurst will discuss the framework to guide the city’s expected urban growth to over nine million people by 2030. The plan establishes a vision for the city to become one of the most livable, sustainable, and attractive world capital cities. The plan protects 70% of Hanoi—including its natural areas and agricultural land—as part of a broad sustainability strategy. The plan calls for strict preservation of the historic precincts.
